Printmaker

Roya draws inspiration for her work from the natural environment, travel, books, and memories, and often creates her art through various printmaking techniques. Her prints celebrate forms, nature, figures, still life, and historic buildings, and are infused with a sense of playfulness and joy. Roya is endlessly fascinated by the interplay of colour, texture, and pattern, and aims to create technically accomplished and emotionally resonant prints.

I live in a little village in Surrey, I am a mum, and work part time. I spend most of my time practicing my passions of printmaking and drawing in my home studio or at the local print studio, where I love to go to learn more and socialise with local artists.
